Colven told me he was ready for a snack so we went inside. He said he wanted to make it and I thought that was a GREAT idea, I was so curious what we would end up with. He got one of the wooden bowls, then said he needed cheese, so we went through all the cheeses and only the goat gouda would do. Then he said he wanted some "dead fruit" (dried haha) so I pulled down the selections and he chose dried apricots, goji berries, and cherries. Then nuts to round it off, but "no seeds mama, NUTS!" I carried it outside, following him so he could show me where to set the bowl of snacks. He chose his art table out on the lawn so I set it down and sat. He ran over to the potato vine and picked some flowers for the table. What a romantic!

This just melts my heart. He is such a sweet boy.
What a lovely story!
He and Alex and Greggie can snack together anytime -- that is exactly the kind of snack they put together!
Colven can make my snack any time. That's a boy after my own heart!
All of the above.
That photo is lovely, too!
